The Centro and Rincón Tourism Offices renew the "Q" for Tourist Quality

The Municipal Tourist Information Offices of Benidorm Centro and Rincón de Loix have renewed the “Q” certification for Tourist Quality granted by the Institute for Tourist Quality in Spain, ICTE.

The information and attention offices for tourists and visitors have been integrated since 1996 into the Network of Tourist Information Offices of the Valencian Community -Red Tourist Info- whose general objective is to offer a comprehensive set of tourist information services that are homogeneous in terms of to content, instruments, supports and interactive mechanisms, in order to improve the degree of satisfaction of tourists who visit us. 

The mayor, Toni Pérez, who maintains the Tourism competencies, has highlighted that “the Tourist Info Benidorm offices have had this certification since 2012 and 2015, respectively, and in 2021 we have once again demonstrated our commitments to hospitality and attention to tourists and visitors, prioritizing our responsibility towards information and services in Benidorm, always aligned with the SDGs and the principles of the Smart Tourist Destination ”. The auditors, confirmed the mayor, have highlighted the aspects of universal accessibility and sustainability, along with attention and practical information as keys in this renovation for the two Tourist Info in Benidorm. 

The distinctive "Q" on their façade guarantees the efficient operation of these offices. The "Q" contributes to the tourist establishments that hold it prestige, differentiation, reliability, rigor and effectiveness in the promotion, guaranteeing that it offers quality services with the utmost professionalism. It is currently an ISO standard.

With the obtaining of this renewal of the “Q” certification for Tourist Info Benidorm Centro and Tourist Info Benidorm Rincón de Loix, the Tourism Department of the Benidorm City Council highlights its commitment to offer the best image of the destination and its tourist offer under the parameters of tourist excellence with the aim of promoting the quality of tourist services as a tool that generates wealth and employment.

The "Q" for tourist quality, in general, is a distinctive that is awarded to those tourist establishments that meet specific requirements set forth in the Spanish Tourism Quality System (SCTE) in terms of service provision. The objective of this tourism quality certification is to achieve customer satisfaction through the services provided or the products offered. It is also committed to improvement; it is about exceeding customer expectations with the resources available in the establishments. Thanks to this quality certification, professionalism and reliability are transmitted to customers.

The Spanish Tourism Quality System (SCTE) seeks to achieve a balance between the supply of services and products and the needs of the applicants. It combines standards and implementation tools in aspects of tourism quality that affect an establishment in a particular way.
