The Civil Guard celebrates in Benidorm the feast of its patron saint, the Virgen del Pilar

The Detachment of the Civil Guard of Benidorm has celebrated today the feast of its patron saint, La Virgen del Pilar and National Holiday of Spain with a mass that took place in the parish of Nuestra Señora de la Almudena at 12 noon .

In the parish, the mayor Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez, the provincial deputy José Ramón González de Zárate, and members of the three municipal political groups have gathered to accompany the worthy body.

Likewise, the national deputy Agustín Almodóbar; the lieutenant of the Civil Guard, Manuel Sánchez; the Chief Commissioner of the Local Police, Juan Fuertes, the Head of Foreigners of the Benidorm National Police Corps, Serafín ..., the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals 2021, Paula Pérez and Sofía Fuster, the president of the Comissió de Festes, Batiste Rostoll and a wide representation of the collectives and social entities of the city.

At the end of the religious service, officiated by the parish priest D. Pedro Crespo, the hymn of the Civil Guard was sung by the guards present.
