The exhibition 'Hung Galaxy' by Taiwanese artist Hung Yi "like many tourists" will extend his stay in Benidorm until the18th October, the Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, announced.

Initially, 'Galaxia Hung' was scheduled to stay in Benidorm until the beginning of July. However, "the great reception" by the public to the colorful figures that make up Hung Yi's imaginary, have led to an agreement with the artist and the curator of the exhibition, Eduardo Alcalde, to continue in the city for a few more weeks.

'Hung Galaxy' landed in Benidorm on 16th April from the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. The fourteen sculptures of animals of great size and varied colors have attracted the attention of the public and have made them icons of this summer in Benidorm.
