40% of Couples now have joint Hen/Stag Do’s

Nearly four in ten couples now have joint stag and hen do’s — and shun boozy budget breaks, a survey claims.

Two-thirds said they would prefer a classy trip abroad and almost half the under-24s do not want a send-off at all.

The poll, by James Villas, also found a fifth of Brits who did have a raucous hen or stag regretted it.

More than four in ten people would re-do their hen or stag if they could.

Most people would downsize their party, with more than a third saying they would invite fewer people.

Meanwhile, more and more Bris are enjoying birthdays by taking a trip abroad, with 24 per cent saying they have celebrated overseas.

Almost a third of 25-44 year-olds have celebrated a birthday out of the country.
