Free cultural tour of La Nucía’s old town available for companions
The 24th edition of the La Nucía Mountain Bike Race will take place this Sunday, 23 November, offering a full weekend programme of sport and culture. Alongside the main race, companions will be able to enjoy a free guided cultural tour of La Nucía’s historic old town on Sunday morning.
Mountain biking fans will also have the chance to meet leading international athletes. On Saturday afternoon, during race number collection, there will be an autograph session with Olympic bronze medallist and Spanish champion David Valero. In addition, a technical training session for women, led by Rocío “Dinamita” del Alba, will take place on Saturday morning.
Ride with World-Class Athletes
All participants will ride alongside top professionals from the BH Coloma Team UCI MTB, including:
David Valero – Olympic bronze medallist and Spanish champion
Olivia Onesti – French champion
Jofre Cullell – Olympian
Carlos Coloma – Mountain biking legend and Rio 2016 bronze medallist
This unique opportunity allows riders to enjoy their sport alongside some of the finest national and international competitors.
The event is organised by La Nucía Coloma Bike Club, BH Coloma Team and the Cycling Federation of the Valencian Community, with support from the Sports Department of La Nucía City Council and the Alicante Provincial Council.
Cultural Tour of La Nucía
Companions of participants can join a free cultural visit to La Nucía’s old town on Sunday. Following the race start, attendees will explore the town’s streets, monuments, history and most emblematic sites.
The visit departs from the Olympic Stadium, and advance registration is required:

Last Days to Register
Only a few race numbers remain for this year’s event. Registration closes Thursday, 20 November and includes two categories: mountain bike and e-bike.
Riders will tackle a spectacular 33 km course with 950 m of elevation gain, designed by Olympic medallist Carlos Coloma.

Additional MTB Activities
Participants can meet David Valero during his autograph signing session on Saturday, 22 November, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, coinciding with race number collection.
To support women’s mountain biking, a Technical Training Day with Rocío “Dinamita” del Alba will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, starting and finishing at the Olympic Stadium.
