Benidorm Kings Parade 2020

Last night across our region there where many fantastic Kings Parades including in Alfaz, Altea, Polop and La Nucia.

In Benidorm thousands of people turned out to welcome  Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, the Three Kings.

The floats toured through the streets of the old town to the Christmas Square outside the Town Hall.

The Mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, welcomed the Three Kings of the East and thanked them "for coming again for another year" and he asked them to visit the homes of the children in Benidorm because they had behaved very well.

The parade was divided into two sections. The first, starring characters from cinema and television and the second was represented the story of the journey of the Three Kings to Bethlehem. There were Roman soldiers, King Herod and the star of Christmas. There was also the living manger 'LA BARQUETA' which included animals such as has geese, bulls, donkeys, sheep and goats.

The Musical Union of Benidorm, the Musical Society La Nova provided the music and over 4.000 kilos of sweets and 2.000 toys here given away.
