The third installment of 'Concerts a l'Hort de Colon', by the 'Quinteto de Cuerda' of the Musical Union of Benidorm, opened yesterday the cultural program of the weekend, which has music as the protagonist with two activities scheduled until Sunday.

The Head of Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has indicated that “yesterday the performance of the 'String Quintet' of the Musical Union completed the capacity, something common in all recitals since the start of the programme; A proposal that is very attractive for music lovers due to the intimate atmosphere that is created in such an emblematic space as the Jardin de l'Hort de Colon '. A space, he stressed, that "we have adapted to adapt to the health safety regulations for the performance of outdoor shows."

Pérez reported that 'Concerts a l'Hort de Colon' continues next Thursday, 6th August, at 8:00pm, with a recital by musicians from the Societat Musical l'Illa. This is the first of three concerts in the second phase of the cycle, in which the three musical entities in Benidorm will once again participate.

The second cultural event will be on Sunday, at 9:00 p.m., in the Julio Iglesias auditorium of the Parque de l'Aigüera, where the Symphonic Band of the La Nova Musical Society will offer its Summer Concert, within the Music als Pobles campaign of the Provincial Deputation of Alicante. Previously, at 8.30pm, the members of the Band will perform a parade from the Plaza SSMM Reyes de España to the auditorium. The entrance to the concert is free and limited to the capacity.

The mayor has invited "residents and tourists to participate in the cultural summer program, which offers music, film, theater and art"; as well as to go to the venues with "enough advance so that the entrance is as staggered as possible."
