Alfaz (73 %), Altea (71,3 %) and Finestrat (81,9) have all seen an increase in hotel occupancy in 2019.

The average occupation for last year was at 68,8 %, which is a quite stable result for the hotels on the Costa Blanca, plus if you add in the data of the hotels in Benidorm, the Costa Blanca closes 2019 with 79,8 % occupancy, a result very similar to 2018 (80,1 %).

The occupation forecast for the first fortnight of January is at 39 % right now.

The best occupation is at 3-star hotels with 74,9 %, followed by the four stars with 69,1 %.

Spaniards lead the market share with 55,1 %, with the British in second position with 13,7 %. There are not as many British visitors across the rest of the Costa Blanca as in Benidorm and there was a slight decline (-0,8). However, the British market remains the main international market for the Costa Blanca, despite Brexit and the competition from other countries.

Norway is the third country in the ranking and with 5,5 % of the total market share, it has grown by 0.5%.
