Gómez has detailed that "in this second phase we expand the range of companies and professionals of up to 10 workers who can benefit from this economic injection of €2,000 euros, to which is added €200 euros 'extra' for each worker registered at 31st December 2020 ”. "We thus try to reach the maximum possible number of companies and freelancers in Benidorm who fight every day to maintain their activity and employment," he added.

The new CNAE included in this call are listed in the annex to the bases.

For this new phase there is an economic endowment of about €3.2 million euros, financed by the Generalitat, the Provincial Council of Alicante and the City Council.

After recalling that in the first phase of the 'Parenthesis Grants', nearly €900 companies and freelancers have been granted and just over 2 million euros have been awarded, Gómez pointed out that "in this new call we maintain the same presentation procedure Telematics of requests through the Electronic Office.

The councilor has pointed out that "we have decided to open the submission period to five business days from the publication of the bases in the BOP in order to give potential beneficiaries enough time to collect all the necessary documentation and thus formalize a single application, avoiding duplication of files to speed up their evaluation and resolution ”.

Thus, the submission period begins at 9am on Friday, 11th June and will be open until 11:59pm on 2nd July.

In addition to this second phase of 'Parenthesis Aid', the City Council has also approved a new line of aid, in this case endowed with €3 million euros of 100% municipal resources and aimed at the city's accommodation sector: hotels, campsites, pensions, hostels, apartment blocks and management companies. In the next few days, the application deadlines for these grants to the accommodation sector will be reported, which provide benefits that “range from €1,000 to €90,000 euros depending on the category and number of rooms or apartments in the establishment.
