Altea has become one of the first municipalities in the Valencian Community to introduce Artificial Intelligence into daily local policing operations with the launch of “ChatPol,” a new AI-assisted system designed to reduce bureaucracy and improve citizen security.
The initiative, announced by the Town Hall’s Citizen Security Department, forms part of a wider digital modernisation strategy aimed at increasing police efficiency while keeping more officers active on the streets.
