The city of Benidorm has announced a major reinforcement of beach cleaning, maintenance, and security services ahead of the busy early April holiday period, as thousands of visitors — including UK tourists — are expected to arrive.
The special operation, running from 2–6 April, will deploy more than 30 cleaning and maintenance workers alongside 32 additional police officers across the resort’s three main beaches: Levante Beach, Poniente Beach and Mal Pas Beach.
