Benidorm / 3 February 2026
Benidorm Skyfest will host the ‘Oro Viejo’ festival on August 1, a major tribute to dance and “remember” music, organisers said on Monday.
Presented by DJ Nano, the event will feature more than 20 artists, DJs and live bands performing across several stages, offering a programme dedicated to some of the most iconic anthems in Spanish dance music.
‘Oro Viejo’, already established in regions such as Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha, will be held exclusively in Benidorm within the Valencian Community this summer as part of the city’s expanding programme of large-scale music events.
Ahead of the festival, a preliminary acoustic audit will be carried out at the Skyfest venue to optimise sound performance. Organisers said advanced sound systems and specific acoustic measures will be implemented to minimise noise impact on surrounding areas.
City officials said the event reinforces Benidorm’s strategy of positioning itself as a leading destination for major cultural and music events while ensuring compatibility with residents and tourism activity.
