Benidorm / 22 March 2026
Benidorm played host this weekend to a key stage of the 32nd Rallye La Nucía–Mediterráneo Trofeo Costa Blanca, with the city’s Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España serving as an official regrouping point for competing teams.
The event forms part of the Spanish Super Asphalt Rally Championship, attracting top-level drivers and teams from across Spain for one of the most anticipated fixtures in the national rally calendar.
Cars began arriving in the central square shortly after midday on Saturday, following the completion of the opening stages of the rally’s second and final day. Spectators gathered to witness the action up close before drivers continued on the final leg of the race, which concludes in La Nucía.
The Mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, welcomed participants alongside Councillor for Sports Javier Jordá and regional representatives, highlighting the importance of the event in promoting the Costa Blanca as a premier destination for international sporting events.
Organised with the support of the Alicante Provincial Council, the rally spans two days and covers routes through the regions of La Marina Baixa, L'Alcoià, El Comtat and Marina Alta.
The 2026 edition once again offers motorsport fans the chance to experience high-level competition, showcasing both elite driving talent and the diverse landscapes of the Costa Blanca.
