Benidorm / 7 December 2025
Benidorm City Council has confirmed the launch of its latest #BenidormTeDaMás consumer voucher initiative, scheduled to run from 15 to 31 December 2025. Local businesses can register to take part in the scheme from now.
Approved this week by the Local Governing Board, the sixth edition of the programme will once again be universally available to all residents aged 18 and over who were registered in the city before 1 October—an estimated 70,547 beneficiaries.
Announcing the initiative, the Mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, highlighted the city’s continued commitment to supporting local commerce:
“Benidorm is one of the few municipalities to maintain this type of incentive, especially during such an important shopping period as Christmas. We are also the only one to provide these vouchers directly and universally, without queues or advance payments—something that has set us apart from the beginning.”
Funding and voucher details
The City Council has allocated an initial €1.8 million to fund the campaign, with the option to increase the total to €2,108,760, depending on demand.
Eligible residents will be able to download three €10 vouchers—a total value of €30—which can be redeemed in participating establishments on purchases worth €60 or more.
Businesses wishing to join the scheme can register via the dedicated website, bonobenidormtedamas.es, until 30 December 2025. Establishments may join at any point, even after the campaign has begun.
Based on results from previous editions, the economic impact of the campaign on the local business community is expected to reach around €5 million, with each euro invested generating approximately €2.40 in local spending.
How to download and use the vouchers
From 15 December at 9:00 a.m., eligible residents can:
The app will provide QR codes for each voucher and allow users to track redemptions and participating establishments.
In-person assistance
Background
The #BenidormTeDaMás programme was introduced in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, initially providing direct financial assistance to 3,000 families. It evolved into a universal voucher scheme the following year and has since become a key measure for supporting residents and stimulating local economic activity during the festive period.
Mayor Pérez noted that although circumstances have changed since the scheme’s inception, the initiative continues to deliver strong benefits:
“We are confident this new edition will further revitalise our local economy, support our business sector, and help families at a time when household expenses have increased significantly.”
