The event, which is expected to be attended by around 10,000 people, will feature a fireworks display and music after the chimes.
At 1:00 the party will connect with the BBC and Big Ben in London to celebrate the beginning of 2025 with British tourists
Benidorm City Council and the Association of Bars, Restaurants and Cafeterias, Abreca, will organize a big New Year's Eve party next Tuesday, December 31, which will be held on the Paseo de Levante to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the new year 2025. An event that is taking place in this space for the eighth consecutive year, with the support of the Departments of Festivals, Events and Commerce, and for which the attendance of some 10,000 people is expected, as announced today by the Councilor for Festivals, Mariló Cebreros, and the vice president of Abreca, Alex Fratini.
The party will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature background music, DJ performances, and national and international entertainment for all the public gathered. Numerous top-notch leisure venues have also joined this macro New Year's Eve party and will distribute Vinalopó grapes and party favors among attendees.
Minutes before midnight, a connection will be made with Puerta del Sol to broadcast the twelve chimes live on screens installed on Paseo de Levante. This will be followed by a great pyromusical show that will combine music and fireworks in a synchronized manner and which can be followed from the beach and also from other points in the city.
Likewise, one more year, at one in the morning, the festival will connect through these same screens with the British television BBC to broadcast the chimes from Big Ben in London. “It is a deference that we want to have with tourists of that nationality, who increasingly choose our city to spend Christmas and to see out the year,” explained Mariló Cebreros.
The Councillor for Festivals and the Councillors for Commerce, Javier Jordá, and for Events, Jesús Carrobles, have wished Abreca and the dozen establishments involved that “this New Year’s Eve party, once again, will be a great success” and have invited residents and visitors to “come and enjoy one of the best parties in our area and in a privileged place such as Levante beach”. For his part, Alex Fratini has thanked the municipal collaboration and that of the companies collaborating with Abraca to “make it possible for Benidorm to be once again the epicentre of the New Year’s Eve celebrations on the Costa Blanca”.
