L’Alfàs del Pi / Monday 15 December 2025
The British organisation Spiritual Foundation, based at Senior Living The Comm in l’Alfàs del Pi, has donated a total of €2,000 to local charitable causes, allocating €1,000 to ASPANION (the Association of Parents of Children and Adolescents with Cancer) and €1,000 to the Red Cross.
The donation was formally presented during a handover ceremony held at The Comm, an internationally recognised residential complex in the senior living sector and home to the Spiritual Foundation. The event brought together representatives of the British association, ASPANION, the Red Cross, and local authorities, highlighting the strong sense of community and collaboration among the organisations involved.
Founded in 2004, the Spiritual Foundation has around 100 members of various nationalities, predominantly British, Norwegian, Swedish and German. The group meets every Thursday and is actively involved in promoting spiritual and physical wellbeing.
Among its regular initiatives, the Foundation organises charity fairs and fundraising events, with proceeds dedicated to social and humanitarian projects that support vulnerable groups in the local community.
Representatives from both beneficiary organisations expressed their gratitude, underlining the importance of community-led initiatives in sustaining essential social and health-related services.
