"Everything is better with a bike." This year's slogan is proposed by the El Portell de Finestrat School, which, together with the Department of Sports, is organising Bike Day. The date: Sunday, April 6. As on previous occasions, children aged 12 and over can participate in a 10-kilometer "Volta al Realet" circuit. The start is at 10:30 a.m. Families with children can participate starting at 11:30 a.m. with a circuit through the streets of the historic center and games.
The Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán, and the President of the El Portell de Finestrat Regional Council, Vicente Llorca Climent, presented this healthy, family-friendly sports event for Sunday, April 6. “It's a very popular day in Finestrat. We're a municipality with a great passion for cycling. We like to encourage it from an early age. And we're once again working with El Portell to celebrate this event, which will also be a festive occasion because there will be paella and entertainment for everyone,” stated the Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán.
