The Finestrat City Council has been the beneficiary of a subsidy of €21,028.16 from the Alicante Provincial Council for the coverage of the Fire Prevention and Extinction and Rescue Service. This is the call for subsidies to City Councils to cover the statutory contributions of the Provincial Consortium to cover the aforementioned services.
Of the total cost of these services for Finestrat, €113,446.83, the City Council has obtained €21,028.16 in subsidy from the provincial institution (2024 annuity).
As indicated by the Councilor for Security, Beatriz Quintillán , "we are always grateful to the Dipu Firefighters for the exceptional work they do, not only in terms of prevention and extinguishing fires, which is key to the safety of people and the preservation of our environment. We also talk about the rescue actions they are carrying out, together with our Police, in Puig Campana and its entire natural environment. The councilor also expressed her gratitude to the Alicante Provincial Council "because the support of the provincial institution is key for the City Councils to be able to provide these very important services."
