THERE WILL BE A CHILDREN'S FACE PAINTING WORKSHOP, PARADE, INFLATABLES, SNACK AND POPULAR BAR WITH THE COMMITTEE "EL BALCONET"
The rain postponed the Carnival party scheduled for March 1 in Finestrat and, from the Department of Festivals they inform that it will be held this Saturday, March 8. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the children's park on Carrer Serra Cortina, next to the medical office, where there will be children's face painting "so that the little ones have the opportunity to complete their costumes with this special makeup." From there the costume parade will start passing through Carrer Figueretes, Avenida Benidorm and Carrer Fonteta until reaching the Plaça de la Unió Europea where there will be inflatables and, in the Sala Jove, the snack will be held by the Comissió de Festes El Balconet. Specifically, they have prepared a children's snack with a price of €5 to benefit the 2025 patron saint festivities. The Commission will also have a bar with a grill at popular prices for the adult public. After the snack there will be dancing for all attendees.
The Councillor for Festivals, Sara Llorca, explained that “this Saturday we are taking our costumes out onto the streets and we hope to be able to enjoy the Carnival party that we had to postpone last weekend. So we invite you to dress up and spend a fun afternoon at the Sala Jove with the Comissió de Festes El Balconet”.
