Four giant screens will allow more audiences to follow the staging of the discovery live.

The Staging of the Finding is celebrated on Festival Saturday on the sand of Poniente beach, in front of the Elche Park, at 5 p.m. It represents the historical events related to the arrival of the patron saint of Benidorm, the Virgin of Suffrage, to the municipality in the year 1740 aboard a ship that was sailing without a crew and adrift and that was towed by three Benidorm residents to the beach. . For fear that the ship could contain the plague, it was burned, saving the image of a virgin with a child from the flames.
The four screens will be installed throughout the entire Elche Park and the live broadcast of the Finding will be broadcast on them, for which five cameras will be used, a camera integrated between the actors and a drone from which they will be captured. aerial images, as explained by Solaz. The festive representative has pointed out that "until now the space available to watch the event was very limited" and has also indicated that, with the new giant screens, the public will be able to follow this broadcast from the vicinity of Elche Park, mainly from the streets. of Mayor José Such Ortega and San Pedro, “where many clubs and festive entities gather to participate in the Offering.”
“All the contribution we can make to praise this act is little,” added Vicente Solaz, who recalled the “relevance” of the Staging of the Finding in our celebrations.
For her part, the Festival Councilor thanked the Festival Committee for “its involvement in making one of the most valuable and beloved events of our Patron Saint Festivals even bigger.”
Likewise, Cebreros has applauded the “tireless work” that ACR La Barqueta carries out throughout the year” and has shown all the municipal support so that it can continue to be held.
