After last year's successful New Year's Eve, La Nucía repeats and will hold a “Great New Year's Eve Party” throughout the day in the Plaça Major. The 2023 New Year's Eve Party and 2024 Welcome Party will feature lunch, food, an afternoon with a bandeta, and a musical performance , dinner, bell ringing, pyromusical show, DJS and chocolate, in Plaça Major. Admission will be free.

This great "Fiesta de Año" is organized by the City Council of La Nucía and the Peñas Association with the collaboration of Majorals 2024-Penya Els Penjats. In the presentation of the acts of the “New Year's Party 2023-2024" will participate Quico Pérez, president of the Mayorals 2024-Penya Els Penjats, Diego Llorca, president of the Peñas Association and Cristóbal Llorens, councilor of Fiestas.

Party all day long

The “New Year's Eve Party” will take place throughout December 31 in the Plaça Major of La Nucía, with “New Year's Morning”, “New Year's Afternoon” and “New Year's Eve”. It will begin at 10 in the morning with the New Year's Eve lunch, service at the Majorals 2024 Bar at popular prices. It will continue at 12 noon with the “Rehearsal of the 12 Bells” with jelly beans and tramussos, focused on children.

At 1 p.m. the Royal Page will visit to collect the letters from the children of La Nucía. At 2 p.m. New Year's Eve Lunch “Broth with balls” at popular prices at the Majorals 2024 bar ( advance reservation is recommended). Then at 4:30 p.m. “the afternoon” will begin, enlivened by the xaranga La Bona de Callosa, with chocolate in the middle of the afternoon (6 p.m.). At 9 p.m. to regain strength, “New Year's Eve dinner” at the Majorals 2024 bar. After the “New Year's Chimes”, a pyromusical show will take place to welcome 2024. The new year will begin with the musical performance of “Sawy Pérez” at 12:30 p.m. and from 2 in the morning the DJ'S Residents party will continue.

Continue the tradition

The objective of the City Council of La Nucía and the Penyes Association by repeating the “Great New Year's Eve Party” in the main square is to recover the tradition of celebrating the “entrance of the year and taking grapes”, hearing the chimes of the Church clock, which had been lost in recent years in La Nucía.

Grapes, party favors and free chocolate

From the City Hall of La Nucía the “12 jelly beans” will be given free of charge to all attendees for the 12 Bells Rehearsal at 12 noon, the grapes and party favors for the New Year's Eve Bells and the chocolate at 6 in the afternoon. The pyromusical to welcome the year 2024 is also organized by the City Council of La Nucía.

Visit of the Royal Page

At 1 p.m. the Royal Page of Their Majesties the Kings of the East will visit the Plaça Major to collect the letters from the boys and girls of La Nucía. Let us remember that the parade of Three Wise Men of La Nucía will be on Friday, January 5, starting at 6 p.m.
