More than 500 people attended the lighting of the Christmas lights and the Christmas Tree in Plaça del Poble in Finestrat

Hundreds of people gathered in Plaça del Poble to attend the lighting of the Christmas lighting and also the Christmas Tree that presides over this emblematic space in the historic center. The event had the collaboration of the Dones Association as there was chocolate and churros for the attendees.

This is one of the obligatory stops on the Christmas route that you can make through the streets of the town during these dates as a gift to take photos at the La Fonteta intersection, the representation of the Nativity scene, in the same location or the decoration of the Plaça de l'Amfora in La Cala.

The mayor, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, along with members of the municipal corporation, was present at this Christmas event that brought together a large audience from throughout the town and region. «It is a very special and long-awaited day. Many people have come to accompany us.

Finestrat is already dressed for Christmas. And shortly, on the weekend of December 15, 16 and 17, we will celebrate our Christmas Market. So this event has served as a perfect prelude to what we will enjoy in our Mercat to which you are all invited," said the mayor.
