Valencia / 31 Janaury 2026
The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, will lead the Valencian Community’s delegation at the Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin on 4–5 February, one of the world’s leading events for the global fresh fruit and vegetable industry.
Pérez Llorca, accompanied by the regional minister for agriculture, Miguel Barrachina, will visit the Generalitat Valenciana stand and meet with participating companies on the opening day, before touring exhibitors from Valencian export firms present at the fair.
The president highlighted the internationally recognised quality of Valencian agri-food products and reaffirmed the regional government’s support for producers and exporters in their internationalisation efforts.
“The Valencian Community has products of the highest quality, recognised worldwide. From the Generalitat, we want to support our producers and exporters as they expand internationally, creating business opportunities and added value for the entire agri-food sector,” Pérez Llorca said.
The Generalitat Valenciana stand will host 26 production and distribution companies, cooperatives, and the regulatory councils of two protected Valencian products: Kaki de la Ribera del Xúquer and Valencian Citrus.
Fruit Logistica is the leading international trade fair for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector, covering the entire supply chain from production to retail. The event brings together more than 2,500 exhibitors from 90 countries, making it the largest and most international meeting point for the global horticultural industry.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Generalitat Valenciana plans to facilitate the participation of nearly 300 Valencian companies in major international agri-food fairs. A total of 293 exhibition spaces will be offered across seven leading events in sectors including fresh produce, organic food, wine, gourmet products and general food, mainly in Germany and France, as well as in Madrid and Barcelona.
