On December 30, the first San Silvestre de l'Alfàs del Pi will be held, a popular race organised by Majorals del Santíssim Crist del Bon Encert 2024, in collaboration with the Alfasino town council. Sport and party come together in this 4-kilometer distance race, starting and finishing from the municipal athletics track.
The registration period opens tomorrow, Wednesday. People who are interested in participating should go to the Pau Gasol Pavilion on December 27, 28 and 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. For adults, a fee of 5 euros has been established , which gives the right to a drink and a sandwich after the competition. Children's registration will be free.
The first San Silvestre de l'Alfàs will be held on Saturday, December 30, at 11 a.m. Both the start and the finish line in the adult category will take place from the athletics track. The route, 4 kilometers long, will pass through the vicinity of the municipal sports centre.
There will also be children's races, so that the San Silvestre de l'Alfàs is an initiative that can be enjoyed with the family. In addition, thanks to the collaboration of Alfàs Fitness Club, a free Zumba class has been scheduled, which will take place from 12 to 1 p.m.
The mayorales will install a bar where food and drinks will be served at popular prices. Sandwiches, waffles, popcorn... and, as the main dish of the day, broth with balls.
There will be trophies for the top 15 finishers in the adult category and medals for all child participants. In addition, prizes will be awarded for the best individual and group costumes.
An initiative that combines celebration and sport, allowing citizens to enjoy the last race of 2023 in l'Alfàs del Pi with their families.
From the City Council of l'Alfàs del Pi and from Majorals del Santíssim Crist del Bon Encert 2024, all citizens are encouraged to participate in this first San Silvestre de l'Alfàs, a popular race that is configured as a family party.
