l’Alfàs del Pi, 23 March 2026
l’Alfàs del Pi Town Hall has announced a planned electrical power outage scheduled for Tuesday, 24 March, as part of essential infrastructure expansion and maintenance work aimed at improving the quality and reliability of the local electricity supply.
The scheduled interruption will take place between 08:30 and 10:30 BST, and will affect homes and businesses on key residential roads, including Riu Girona, Riu Segura, Riu Serpis, Riu Amadorio, Riu Vinalopó, Riu Montnegre, as well as properties on Camí Vell d’Altea, Avenues of Europa and Albir, Polígono 5 and Rambla de l’Albir.
The outage is being carried out by the distribution company i‑DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes SAU as part of a programme of expansion and maintenance works on electrical installations in the municipality. According to the company, the temporary suspension of service is necessary to complete improvements that will enhance network resilience, reduce the risk of unplanned outages, and ensure a more robust energy supply for residents and businesses.
The Town Hall has urged those affected to take appropriate precautions, such as switching off sensitive electronic equipment before the outage begins, and apologises for any inconvenience caused. Residents requiring further information or clarification can contact i‑DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes directly.
Mayor Vicente Arques Cortes said: “These works are essential to future‑proof our energy network and deliver greater reliability for our community. We thank residents for their patience and understanding as we carry out these important improvements.”
