The awards ceremony was held last night at the Casa Mediterráneo headquarters
The Benidorm Fest and the manager of Visit Benidorm, Leire Bilbao, were recognised yesterday at the AAPET Pedro Zaragoza Orts Awards for Tourism 2024. The mayor, Toni Pérez, was in charge of collecting the Benidorm Fest award, given in the Company/Event category; while the Councillor for the Presidency, Juan Díaz, did the same with the award for Leire Bilbao, who received the Special Mention for the Career of the Person and who could not attend the event as she was participating in the Tourism Innovation Summit congress in Seville. The manager of Visit Benidorm was recognised in this category together with Cristina Rodríguez, CEO of M de Alejandría.
In addition, during the gala, held at the Casa Mediterráneo headquarters in Alicante, the Relleu reservoir walkway was also awarded with the Initiative/Innovation award; and Roberto Pérez Guerras.
