The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and Councilor for Events, Jesús Carrobles, participated this Thursday in Madrid in the presentation of the 16 songs that will participate in the third edition of the Benidorm Fest to win the Bronze Microphone and be able to represent to Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The press conference in which the topics were announced, directed by the director of Participation and Communication of Spanish Radio Television (RTVE), María Eizaguirre, has had the participation of almost all the artists selected for this edition, except for two who are outside Spain due to professional commitments, as well as with the co-directors of the Benidorm Fest, Ana María Bordas and César Vallejo, and it has been broadcast live through RTVE Play.
The mayor of the city has highlighted that, with the dissemination of the selected songs, "we take another step towards the celebration of a Benidorm Fest that, with only two editions, has come to revolutionize the musical panorama of our country, reaping also many awards and recognitions” and has trusted that this third edition “will serve to consolidate it as one of the great musical events of the year.”
