The daily cleaning service has already begun on all beaches and the lifeguard service will start on April 17, so that both tourists and residents can enjoy the beaches during the Easter holidays.
The summer season begins on the beaches of Vila Joiosa. The 13 beaches are now ready to welcome residents and tourists. The Beach Councillor, Carlos Soler, has reported that municipal workers have been carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation work on the furniture and infrastructure on all the beaches for several months, so that bathers can now enjoy all the services and amenities in perfect condition. In addition, the daily cleaning service has also started on all the beaches, which will be active until October 15.

For her part, the Tourism Councillor, Rosa Llorca, points out that on April 17, the lifeguard and rescue service will start on the blue flag beaches, Torres, Varadero, Centre, Paradís, Bol Nou and La Caleta. The service will be active on April 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 from 11:00 to 18:00 in order to guarantee a safe environment for bathers. The lifeguard service will have a team of qualified lifeguards, with constant surveillance, equipped with rescue equipment, in addition to working in coordination with the Local Police, Civil Protection and emergency services, to ensure that any eventuality is resolved quickly and effectively.
The Beaches Councillor, Carlos Soler, highlights that "all the beaches are in excellent condition so that residents and tourists can enjoy the quality of our waters and perfect services that guarantee the safety and comfort of bathers in each of them. The Beaches and Tourism departments have worked steadily and services have been reinforced on all the beaches, which is why the result of this is also the record number of flags that certify the quality and excellence of each of them."

Vila Joiosa has 6 blue flags and 10 Qualitur flags on its beaches and coves, a record number of distinctions that recognize the environmental quality and services of the beaches and waters of its coastline. Vila Joiosa is the municipality of Marina Baixa with the most blue flags, in addition to being the only one that also has two blue trail flags, that of Colada de la Costa and Volta al Cantal.
