I'Afas del Pi / 21 February 2026
Everything is in place for the grand Carnival celebration taking place today, Saturday 21 February, at the municipal sports centre in l’Alfàs del Pi.
The 2026 Carnival Committee of the Santíssim Crist del Bon Encert, from Penya L'Impacte, has confirmed that all preparations have been completed for what promises to be a vibrant, all-ages event. The celebration is organised in collaboration with the Department of Festivals and Traditions.
Family Fun in the Morning
The day begins with the Children’s Carnival from 10:30am to 1:30pm, featuring a colourful parade, children’s activity zones, face painting, inflatables and creative workshops. Organisers say the morning programme is designed to offer younger participants a fun-filled and festive experience.

Music and Celebration into the Night
From 4:00pm, the Cowboy Carnival gets underway, bringing an afternoon and evening party tailored for adults. Music will be provided by Marcos Modino, David Furylo and Moskiyu, with celebrations continuing until midnight.
A food and drink area will also be available, serving hamburgers, hot dogs and other refreshments throughout the evening.
Community Spirit at the Heart of the Festival
Councillor for Festivals and Traditions Sandra Gómez praised the dedication of Penya L'Impacte in delivering the event.
''The Town Hall is proud to support the Mayorales, who work with enthusiasm and commitment to organise activities for all ages,” she said, encouraging residents and visitors to dress up and take part in a celebration that strengthens community spirit and local traditions.
With costumes at the ready and the venue fully prepared, l’Alfàs del Pi is set for a day of colour, music and Carnival atmosphere.
