Starting tomorrow, Friday 17th July, it will be necessary to reserve a plot to spend a day at the beach in Levante. The mayor, Toni Pérez, reported today that for this purpose from today, at noon the web booking platform included in the 'Benidorm Beach Safety' project will be activated, which will allow the user to choose the area, plot and time (either a complete day, morning or afternoon). Once the reservation form is completed at Click Here for Beach Booking  , the user will receive by email a link to download their ticket or 'passbook', which must be presented upon arrival at the corresponding access point.

As explained by the mayor, there is also “three physical booking points at the El Torrejó building, and on the promenade at the height of Avenida de Europa and Rincón de Loix where, in addition to resolve incidents, those who do not have the resources or technological accessibility may also make their reservation ”. Some physical points that will be operational from Thursday at 12.00 for those who want to make their reservation for Friday 17th July.

Toni Pérez stressed that "at this time, the platform is exclusively activated to reserve a plot on the Levante beach", which is the one with the highest demand and where the need to order the flow and capacity of users has been detected "So that all people can enjoy the beach". The Mal and Poniente beaches will continue to operate without the need to book", as long as the flow of demand does not require the use of the platform." Nor will it be necessary to book when you only go to enjoy a swim between 09:00 and 21:30 without staying on the sand, being able to access the beach through the points of ascent and leaving your belongings in the space indicated by the staff of access control.

This system of reservations and capacity control included in the Benidorm Beach Safety project “means that in addition to possibly offering the safest beaches in Europe”, which since its reopening on 15th June 15 have already seen “more than 381,000 people”, With daily peaks "above 29,000 attendees," now we can continue to guarantee these beaches for everyone, every day. The mayor has also said that "the green area, until now reserved for over 60 years, is also extended to vulnerable people." Both groups will be able “at their will” to choose a plot in this area, or to do so in the blue spaces provided for the general population.

Likewise, "the hours for walking and bathing are maintained from 07.00 to 08.45" and from Friday "the stay on the beaches is extended". In this way, the sandbanks will open at 9:00 am and will operate continuously until 9:30 pm. The number of accesses available on the three beaches is also expanded to 39.
