The Education Department of the Benidorm City Council has opened the registration period for the 'Summer 2021 Educational Support Program', which is aimed at students from first to sixth of Primary Education and which will be held from 5th July to 27th August in the CEIP Ausiàs March.

Applications must be submitted to the Education Bureau, located on the third floor of Benidorm Town Hall, until 23rd June, except for those applications that wish to obtain financial aid to pay for the program, which must be submitted before 15th June.

This program is developed with the aim of extending the school year, making summer classes available to families for their children to correct educational deficiencies detected during the course. It is aimed at primary school students who for various reasons have not obtained good results during the school year and who do not have serious behavior problems.

The initial number of places offered is ninety, fifteen places for each of the six primary courses. Classes will be from 9 am to 11am for 2nd, 4th and 6th grade students, and from 11.30 to 1.30 pm for 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students. The pedagogical activities offered are language, mathematics, English and Valencian, as well as classes with different study techniques to improve student performance.

The general price of the course without reductions will be €63.79, although there will be different discounts for large families, single parents, host families, with functional diversity, with more than one participant, etc., as long as they are registered in Benidorm. These aids can be consulted in the Education area, where the application forms are available and where information on the documentation to be presented in each case will be provided.
