The Alicante Provincial Council is offering to the international residents an online Spanish course to improve their knowledge of the language. The Councilor for Foreign Residents, Ana Pellicer, has encouraged "people registered in the city of other nationalities who want to improve their Spanish to enroll in this free training, which is adapted to the level of each student."

The course lasts approximately 9 months and offers 400 places. Those who register will take a level test and a progression test, and will be able to choose access to the system in 14 languages.
As explained by the Provincial Council, the user can access the system from their computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, although there is also the possibility of using tablets or mobile phones although some functionalities will not be available. Likewise, there is the possibility of working off-line by previously downloading the units.

Students will have at their disposal a tutorial to learn about the system, technical assistance in Spanish and English by email and will be able to customize the course based on their interests and progress.
