The events began at 11:00 in the morning with the Festa de les Festes, which brought together the different festive groups and regional houses of the town in a parade that ended at the tent of the Commission in the square of Their Majesties the Kings of Spain. There, the mayors offered them refreshments and acknowledged the role they play in the protection and dissemination of culture and festivals in the city.
In addition to the authorities, the presidents of the Commission and Association of Pensions Verge del Sofratge, María Dolores Cano and Jaume Cortés, participated in the event; the Queens of the Mayor and the Children, Valentina Almodóbar and Laia Zamora; and the directors and representatives of the groups honoured.
At one o'clock in the afternoon, it was time for the little ones, with the firing of a children's mascletá and, then, a colourful candy fireworks display that delighted the children and, especially, the ladies of the children's court.
Later, organised by the Associació de Penyes, Avenida Jaume I was the stage where Piromedia Hermanos Sirvent fired the fourth and last of the mascletás of 2024, which was preceded by a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the tragedy caused by the DANA in Valencia.
