Altea / 26 November 2025
Usability, accessibility and transparency are the defining features of the new Altea City Council website, unveiled this morning by Germán Manjón, Councillor for New Technologies, and Pachisco Sancho, Head of Digital Value, a digital transformation company specialising in public administration.
The new online platform centralises and provides citizens with all information generated by the local administration, offering a single, streamlined space for municipal content, procedures and public services.
“We believe the new municipal website is a resounding success,” said Councillor Manjón. “We have been able to turn citizens’ expectations into reality: one unified space bringing together all areas, all procedures and all the information residents need from the City Council.”
He added, “Modernisation was necessary, and we now have a website that delivers a comprehensive solution: the full municipal agenda, a gateway to book public facilities, electronic headquarters procedures, and other key services. It is a useful, simple and intuitive information point, accessible from any device.”
The website is fully multilingual and features a new design aligned with the town’s visual identity. Development will continue to ensure the platform evolves in response to citizens’ needs, supported by data-driven insights on user behaviour.
Representing Digital Value, the company responsible for the digital transformation, Pachisco Sancho highlighted that the project was built upon three fundamental principles:
Sancho explained that the design incorporates Altea’s characteristic colours, white and blue, “which convey the feeling that Altea breathes and is alive.”
The newly redesigned municipal website—bringing together all information generated by the local administration—is now live and available to the public at www.altea.es
