Benidorm / December 23, 2025
It’s Boxing Day in the UK – traditionally the perfect time to snap up a few bargains in the sales 🛍️ but don’t forget to make the most of your #BenidormTeDaMás vouchers here in Benidorm and enjoy extra savings at local businesses.
Benidorm City Council has approved the payment of the first batch of consumer vouchers redeemed under the municipal campaign #BenidormTeDaMás (Benidorm Gives You More), with a total value of €351,690.
The approval follows authorisation by the Local Governing Board for vouchers redeemed during the first week of the campaign. Mayor Toni Pérez confirmed that this initial batch includes vouchers used between Monday, December 15 and Sunday, December 21, redeemed by approximately 13,000 people across 488 participating establishments in the city.
The Mayor stated that the number of redeemed vouchers increased significantly in the days leading up to Christmas. More than 34,000 registered residents aged over 18 have already requested and downloaded their vouchers, with many still to redeem them.
Figures released by the Department of Commerce show strong participation, with more than 39,200 vouchers redeemed and over 104,000 vouchers downloaded by midday on Monday.
As in previous editions of the scheme, the City Council aims to ensure that participating businesses receive reimbursement as quickly as possible. Payments are therefore being processed in stages rather than waiting until the end of the campaign. This approach is intended both to stimulate local spending and to provide businesses with a prompt financial boost.
Municipal technicians have indicated that establishments are likely to receive payments from this first batch in the coming days, although public holidays at this time of year may cause slight delays.
Activity at in-person support points has also been steady. A total of 2,476 vouchers have been generated through public service points established to assist residents without access to digital tools. Of these, 1,631 vouchers were processed at the City Hall Assembly Hall and 845 at administrative offices. The City Hall service point will remain open on weekdays from 8:00am to 3:00pm for the remainder of the campaign.
Eligible residents can download their vouchers until December 31 via the website bonobenidormtedamas.es. Registration requires a DNI, NIE or passport number and the creation of a password. Vouchers can be downloaded in PDF format and printed.
Alternatively, vouchers can be redeemed digitally using the BuyBono mobile app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The app allows users to download vouchers, access QR codes, track redemptions, and view a list of participating establishments.
For the sixth edition of #BenidormTeDaMás, an initial budget of €1.8 million has been allocated.
