The intervention has been used to renew and replace some deteriorated elements of the street furniture
The Benidorm City Council is carrying out some work to clean up and improve the image of the most emblematic and visited areas of the city in view of the imminent arrival of the summer season. These are small interventions in public spaces that require simple actions but contribute to improving the general appearance of the place.
Thus, the Councilor for Public Space, Francis Muñoz, has pointed out that "the city is preparing for the summer by working on the most visited areas such as the Castell and its surroundings or the balustrade, which require some maintenance work."
Similarly, similar work is also being carried out in the Elche Park, such as the repainting of the planters and transit areas, as well as those near the children's games. Francis Muñoz has indicated that it is also planned to "reach the Mirador de la Música, located on Paseo de Tamarindos, where work will also be carried out to improve urban decoration and conservation by municipal technical services."
In addition to the aforementioned actions, the municipal brigade is also removing graffiti and graffiti, especially in the underpasses of various locations in order to leave these spaces in the best possible condition. Likewise, new rest benches have been installed on Adolfo Suárez and Juan Fuster Zaragoza avenues "and others have been replaced, at the request of neighbors, that were deteriorated due to use and the passage of time." In total, around twenty banks have been acted upon, according to the mayor.
All these interventions to improve public space will end before the end of this month of June.
