Bike Day returns to Finestrat

Sport and nature. Little ones, young and old. Finestrat celebrates Bike Day again . It will be on Sunday, April 21 and will depart from the Plaça de la Unió Europeana. The Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán, was there along with the President of the organising Club, Center Excursionista El Portell, Vicent Climent.

Two routes, two tests for two styles:

At 09:30 in the morning, the first of the departures for adults from 14 years old. It is the route known as the « Volta al Realet». The departure will be from Plaça de la Unió European towards Sella, going up to the “Realet” departure and descending from Font del Molí until reaching the starting point. 12 kilometers with impressive views of “Els Castellets” and Puig Campana.
At 11:00 a.m. we depart for the family route. Tour for all audiences through the streets of the traditional historic center: Carrer Nou, Carrer Major, Forn Alt, Carrer Serra Cortina, L'Hort, Fonteta and return to the European Union.

 

«Very happy to be able to once again carry out one of the sports proposals that attracts the most people but which is also a recreational and outdoor proposal. “We would like to thank the El Portell Excursionist Club for its involvement and organization and hope that adults, young people and especially the little ones enjoy a day outdoors, pedaling through the historic center or through one of the most impressive places in our town,” “The Realet.” So we invite you all, the residents of La Cala, the urbanizations, the historic centre to participate in this Finestrat Bike Day,” said the Sports Councilor, Bea Quintillán.
