The Paseo de las Estrellas will host this Saturday, October 26, 'Albir Organic', a fair of organic products that will take place from 10:00 to 19:30. The event, organised by the Association for the Defense of Organic Production and Food of the Valencian Community (ASECOCV), is sponsored by the Alicante Provincial Council and in collaboration with the City Council of L'Alfàs and the Committee for Organic Agriculture of the Valencian Community (CAECV).
During the event, visitors will be able to buy a wide variety of certified products directly from organic producers, such as pomegranates, olive oil, figs, mandarins, lemons, nougat, almonds, avocados, guavas, cheeses, honey, flavoured oils, and many fresh fruits and vegetables.
This event not only offers the possibility of accessing local and high-quality organic products, but also encourages responsible consumption and promotes a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
The fair will include an important educational and informative programme coordinated by the Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture (SEAE), with conferences throughout the day on key topics in the field of organic agriculture and responsible consumption. Renowned professionals such as Helena Cifre and María Martin will be present on El Albir beach, in the Biblioplaya area, to address relevant topics such as responsible consumption, organic agriculture, the nutritional quality of organic foods and recipes against climate change. There will also be a round table of organic producers from Alicante to analyse the situation of the Valencian organic sector.
For the little ones, from 12:00 to 14:00 hours, an organic seedbed workshop has been scheduled, organized by Ecoescoles (Agriculture), an activity designed to raise awareness among children about the importance of sustainability and caring for the environment.
