La Nucía showed solidarity with Morocco by donating 4,000 kg of material

The people of La Nucía demonstrated once again their solidarity by donating different materials in the La Nucía “Urgent Aid for Morocco” Solidarity Campaign. In total, 4,000 kilos of material have been collected : blankets, warm clothing in good condition, tents and sleeping bags. This week it will be sent to Morocco through solidarity convoys.

From the Moroccan Community, Pangea and the City Council of La Nucía we would like to thank the supportive nucieros and nucieras who have collaborated in this Solidarity Campaign of “Urgent Aid for Morocco” , donating warm clothing, blankets and other material in the four points that were enabled: El Calvari Social Center, Ali-Zihad Butcher Shop, Caravan Adm. Extension and Camilo Cano Sports City- Pavilion 

After the natural disaster of the strong earthquake that devastated Morocco in September, La Nucía organised an Urgent Aid Collection Campaign last week from September 18 to 24. Solidarity Action organised by the La Nucía Pangea Office (Office for Migrants), the La Nucía City Council and the Moroccan Community of the municipality.
