Low Festival Benidorm closed its fifteenth anniversary edition in style this morning, bringing the curtain down on three days of music in an unbeatable way: confirming the attendance of more than 65,000 people over the three days of the festival and announcing the dates for the 2026 edition, which will be held on July 31 and August 1 and 2. This was announced by the event's promoter, Baltimore Producciones, who also announced the imminent launch of tickets for attendees next year.
The Councilor for Events and Citizen Security of Benidorm City Council, Jesús Carrobles, emphasized that "once again this year, the musical, organizational, and public expectations have been met" over the course of these three days. More than 70 concerts have taken place "completely smoothly and without any significant incidents, thanks to the collaboration of attendees; the prior organizational and planning work; and compliance with the health and safety plan, which involved more than 200 personnel," including police officers, private security guards, healthcare workers, and technical support staff, according to the councilor.
Carrobles recalled that, with fourteen editions held in Benidorm, "the
Low Festival is a well-established event in our city, which every year incorporates new features to improve the experience of attendees, reduce its footprint in the destination and create an even better lineup each year than the last, as we have been able to confirm once again." Thus, The Pet Shop Boys, The Kooks, Empire of the Sun, Viva Suecia, Siloé, Lori Meyers, Zahara, Amaia and Carolina Durante, along with the rest of the bands and artists who have performed live during these days, "have offered spectacular concerts, with a high-level production, and have thrilled the audience from early hours until closing time."
For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá, reported that, with the dismantling of all the infrastructure necessary to host the festival already underway, the City Council will reopen the Foietes municipal swimming pool in the coming days, once all the analyses carried out confirm the good quality of the water. Specifically, the councilor indicated that the current estimate is for the pool to reopen this Thursday, July 31, although he clarified that "if we have the results before that date and they are positive, the reopening will be brought forward and the public will be duly informed."
During the last day of Low Festival, the mayor of the city, Toni Pérez, and the councilor for Festivals, Mariló Cebreros, along with a representative from Baltimore Productions, accompanied the queen of the 2025 Fiestas Mayores Patronales, Paula Pascual Sánchez, and the ladies of the main court of honor, to visit the venue and, in addition, were able to enjoy several of the scheduled concerts.
Festival Facts
A total of just over 65,000 people visited the Guillermo Amor Sports City between Friday and Sunday. Furthermore, all those who couldn't attend in person were still able to enjoy the concerts from home thanks to the now traditional live broadcast on Radio 3.
This year, the festival relied on Correos Express as its logistics operator and once again emphasized sustainability and innovation, with a fully autonomous waste collection system and vacuum toilets that reduce water consumption by 90%. These initiatives consolidate Low as one of the most conscious festivals on the national scene.
The organizers have reminded us that the Low Festival's solidarity has also been included in the invitations for this edition, with a donation (after deducting management and processing costs) that will be donated entirely to two social organizations in Benidorm: Afa Marina Baixa, which provides services to people with Alzheimer's and their families, and the Doble Amor Association, dedicated to the training and promotion of people with intellectual disabilities.
