Craft stalls, food trucks and musical performances will enliven the evenings of July and August weekends in Arsenal Park.
The mayor of Commerce and Tourism, Rosa Llorca, has presented a new initiative to enliven weekend nights this summer at the central beach: the handicraft market "Summer on the river". Visitors can enjoy artisan snacks, food trucks, antiques, natural cosmetics, ceramics, leather, resin, books, handmade textiles, fashion accessories, home décor, upcycling design, vintage fashion, aromatherapy, natural wax candles, incense and gifts.
"Summer on the river" will start on Friday 5 July in the Arsenal park, at the mouth of the Amadorio river, and will be open to the public from 19.00 until midnight on weekends 5, 6 and 7; 12,13 and 14; 19,20 and 21; July 26, 27 and 28; 2,3 and 4; 9,10 and 11; 16,17 and 18; 23,24 and 25; August 30 and 31 and September 1.
"With this new craft market proposal, we want residents and tourists to enjoy a complete range of entertainment on summer nights, not only with the wide variety of craft products offered by the stalls, but also in such an enclave beautiful and bucolic like the Arsenal park, where the distinctive colourful houses of our historic centre are combined with the nature of the river and by the sea", Llorca points out. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide programming of children's workshops, musical performances and leisure activities for the whole family.
