A total of 25 wineries from the Valencian Community, 100% of those that applied, will promote their wines in non-EU markets.
The aid from the Ministry of Agriculture will finance 50% of the promotional and outreach activities that these wineries carry out throughout 2025.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water, Livestock, and Fisheries is allocating a total of €1,941,942 to promoting wines from the Valencian Community in third countries.
The Official Gazette of the Valencian Government (DOGV) has published the aid to the Valencian Community's wine sector for promotion and communication in third-country markets, as set out in the Wine Sector Intervention.
Specifically, a total of 25 wineries in the Valencian Community, all of which have applied for this grant, will be able to promote their wines in markets outside the European Union, thanks to this aid, which aims to finance promotional activities and projects in third countries, including reverse missions or participation in trade fairs.
The grants are aimed at wineries, cooperatives, regulatory councils, associations, consortia, producer organizations, and interprofessional organizations in the Valencian Community.
Wines eligible for this subsidy are those produced under the Designation of Origin (DO), the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), and those that indicate the type of grape they are made with.
Regarding funding, the Ministry of Agriculture is subsidizing 50% of the promotional and communication activities carried out by these wineries throughout 2025.
This initiative, along with other initiatives developed by the Generalitat (Generalitat) for the wine sector, contributes to improving our wineries' exports and positioning the quality of our wines in the international market.
