Registrations are now open for the two Spanish workshops aimed at guaranteeing the social inclusion of immigrant residents in the municipality.
Vila Joiosa Town Council offers Spanish language courses to adult and minor foreign citizens who reside in Vila Joiosa to guarantee their full social inclusion in our municipality.
On the one hand, the Social Welfare and Equality council is offering a second edition of these workshops for adult foreign residents, after the great participation registered in the first, whose sessions end on December 22. This new course will be taught from January to March on Mondays and Fridays in the morning. Those interested can register until December 29 at the Llar del Pensionista social center.
On the other hand, the Education Council offers specific Spanish courses for immigrant boys and girls, whose sessions will begin on January 10 and will be taught in the Cristóbal Zaragoza municipal library in the evening. The Councilor for Education, Marisa Mingot, explains that "this offer of Spanish courses for minors responds to the demand received by the local educational centers. The teachers have detected many difficulties in communication and language among their students foreign, so they asked us to facilitate support for this group so that they can integrate better in the classrooms and can progress more easily in their studies".
